Your hips and shoulders will be balanced or in line with one another and your waist will be short and visibly nipped in. When you gain weight it will be evenly distributed all over the body. Please be aware that there can be slim and fuller versions of this body shape.
  • Pear Pear Shape

Your shoulders will be narrower in relation to your hips and lower body. You will normally take a smaller dress size on your top half than your bottom half, and your bottom and hip area will appear curvier in relation to the top half of your body. When you gain weight it will be below the waistline; on your hips, thighs, and bottom, as opposed to your stomach and mid-section. Please be aware that there can be slim and fuller versions of this body shape.
  • Rectangle Rectangle

    Rectangle

The most common body shape, you will have very few visible curves and an obvious rectangular shaped figure along with no defined waist. When you gain weight it will be distributed predominantly around your waist first. Please be aware that there can be slim and fuller versions of this body shape.
  • Apple Apple

You will have a heavy frame with a prominent tummy, chunky legs along with sloping shoulders, a wide hipline and more than likely a large bust. When you gain weight it will be more prominent in and around the stomach area.
  • Inverted Triangle Inverted Triangle

    Inverted Triangle

You will have a broad back and shoulders whilst having slimmer hips. Wedges can be full busted and often very lucky with having slender legs. It's not unusual for you to take a larger dress size on your top half than your bottom half. You will put weight on in the arms, shoulders, chest and upper abdomen first. Please be aware that there can be slim and fuller versions of this body shape.
